Detox!!

So if you are like me, the holiday eating is fun, but you can't wait to get back to eating healthy again! Whenever Jared & I have a period of crappy eating (ie. Christmas!) we follow it up with a detox. I know what you are thinking! Wierd drinks...no food...etc., but this isn't so bad. We do a 7 day detox diet. You get to eat, just VERY healthily!

It consists of veggies, fruits, fish, nuts & legumes, potatoes, oatmeal & tons of water! No caffeine (the hardest part for me!), no processed anything, no salt, no eggs, no dairy, no meat (aside from fish) and no sugar (aside from fruit & honey).

The first two days are the hardest for me, due to the lack of caffeine. I get a terrible headache! After that, it isn't so bad. It just gets your digestive system working, if you know what I mean! And it makes you feel better! If you are interested check out this site: 7 day detox diet
